Description
Lavender Anaconda is a combination of the recessive lavender mutation and the heterozygous incomplete dominant anaconda mutation. This combination generally displays a lavender to purple colouration with a lighter and reduced pattern. The anaconda mutation removes part of the dorsal pattern, allowing more of the background colour to remain visible and reducing the contrast between pattern and background. Various specimens can range from lighter purple tones to more greyish lavender shades. The lavender mutation mainly influences colour development, while the anaconda mutation is responsible for the pattern reduction. Visible colour intensity may vary between individual specimens within this combination.
